Grinding Cylpebs （rolling）

Grinding Cylpebs mainly by line contact to break down minerals.When cylpebs is used as the grinding media, the particles of every grades are relatively uniform. Cylpebs have certain selectivity for intermediate products to protect effective minerals, and fully exert the advantages of the rod grinding, but the impact strength is not as good as the balls. The ball is ground by point contact with the material, which is suitable for fine, and it is easy to cause over-grinding phenomenon. Therefore, in order to ensure the fineness and uniform particle size, many mines add cylpebs and grinding balls in the mill to obtain a better grinding effect. 

At present, the cylpebs on the market has casting process, a forging process and a direct shear forming process. The characteristics of the casting process is of common density for the texture and tapered shape for removing molds. The forging process maintains the compactness of the raw materials, but often causes S-shaped affecting the linear contact, which go against comprehensive and efficient grinding. The cut horseshoe mouth will also affect the running track and contact surface to reducing the grinding efficiency.

The cylpebs is in the shape of a capsule, which is point works as ball, and good linear contact at cylinder. The running track is stable during the grinding process, and the comprehensive grinding efficiency is high.
